Ride P60 all day with Sam and Yannick

Snow

https://fotballsonen.com/2024/03/07/0hf95ml If you hang out around P60 from time to time, chances are high you’ve noticed Samuel Camenzind or Yannick Messmer grinding their way down ‘Jibbing Paradise’. These two young rippers caught our attention and we convinced them to take a few laps with us through the park on a sunny day. We spent a few hours cruising together, stacking some shots and chitchatting on the chairlift to dig a little deeper in these interesting personalities. We learned that even though these two young guns are quite different, they both share an abundance motivation for snowboarding. Let’s talk a little about these two striking appearances…

Samuel Camenzind, K2 team rider

Samuel is 17 years young, grew up around Lucerne and is representing K2 snowboards. Already at a young age, he grew a passion for snowboarding thanks to his grandfather, who took him out to ride for the first time. Until this day, they still share the same passion for slipping down the hill sideways. So whenever there’s fresh powder to score, his grandfather comes knocking on Sam’s door early in the morning to go and draw the first lines together. Sam loves to tackle challenges and is therefore keen to compete in some contests in the near future. Railjams in particular, because he likes the format of these types of contests above any other. Don’t mistake him for his small size, because this kid isn’t afraid of big kickers! He loves the feeling of flying in the air. That also explains why he recently started his paragliding license training. Fun fact about Sam: even the smallest men’s snowboard is too big for him! Briefly we could describe Samuel as a young, highly motivated shredder who is always stoked to meet other riders and get inspired by them.

Yannick Messmer, Ride Snowboards team rider

https://www.goedkoopvliegen.nl/uncategorized/zz9v4qxrj Talking about motivation brings us to Yannick Messmer. He’s probably one of the most hyped riders we’ve ever met! Yannick is living in Sankt Gallen and comes up to shred Laax whenever he has holidays. Together with his Brother Jérôme, he leaves his home at 5 o’clock in the morning to catch a train, shred all day, taking only a short lunchbreak, and then take another train to get back home. During the weekends, he often snowboards both Saturdays and Sundays and skips the party to be fit and well rested for another day on the slopes. Yannick is supported by Ride snowboards and has a very characteristic style of riding. It seems as if he can spin his body in any direction, regardless of which trick he’s popping in to or out of. He has very quick feet, so 270’s on or off a rail ain’t no biggie for this jib wizard. https://tankinz.com/8gq4jqq8 We’re beyond stoked to have spent some time with these two interesting personalities and we’re excited about the footage. We hope to see more of these young guns in the future!
