Jib Days recap

When it comes to organize special events, Gaia Giacomazzi is not a stranger to the business. Once more, she has hosted the one and only jib weekend exclusively reserved to girls. After five and successful editions, the weather may have not helped for the sixth, but it has surely not affected the shredders’ motivation to destroy the Crystal Ground Snowpark. With Nicki behind the lenses and thanks to the help of a talented taper, most of the riders have shown style and high level tricks.

For the occasion, the RideSnowboards Europe team has sent some backup help to spice up the weekend. Equipped with fresh boards, high quality prizes were ensured for the most ambitious riders.

Unfortunately, during the first days of riding, rain has the taken the top spot and has incessantly fallen over the set-up. However, the bad conditions have multiplied the smiles within riders. Whenever snowboarding must be approached by alternative means, there is when creativity works at its best. In fact, all the girls made the best out of the worst situation and offered solid tricks all along the day.

On Sunday, after endless prayers and more schnapps, the revered sun came out and suddenly it felt like spring again. Surrounded by a suggestive panorama, the cash trick for session has fired up the whole afternoon. The most remarkable performances have been rewarded with different prizes and among the winners, the Swiss RideSnowboards ripper Katja Signer has snapped the third place for the overall section.

Conclusions
Overall, the weekend has been fun and proved that the female jib scene in Europe is flourishing more than ever.
