Snow

I’m just a normal guy who enjoys the mountains with his friends every day.

http://countocram.com/2024/03/07/xpp312b6 The snowboard scene in Austria is on fire right now. A generation of young riders is keeping the level of riding high in every terrain. Coming from Germany but based in Innsbruck, Thomas Kigle is living proof that being good at snowboarding can be combined with the student lifestyle.

Interview with Thomas Kigle

https://worthcompare.com/udtgcb4z Your skills on the snow are more than solid. How did your relationship with the soft deck begin, and where did you grow up riding?
Everything started in my backyard in Germany, with some friends after school. Around the age of nine, I bought my first cheap board just to cruise down the hills. With some help, we managed to build up handmade rails. That’s basically how my riding story began!

Studying is keeping me quite busy; I don’t really have time to be a 100% snowboarder.
University requires tons of hours of self-guided study, so I usually just try my best when I shoot video for my seasonal film. I keep riding and creating new figures for the fun of doing it.

Tramadol To Buy Online Uk You chose to go to university instead of going pro. Why is that?
Probably because of snowboarding’s high level competition today. There are so many amazing guys out there that it’s pretty hard to keep up with everything nowadays. Unless you have big sponsor deals and support from national teams, it’s more than hard to earn a living off of riding. I picked school because it opens up job opportunities while allowing me some time to ride. I’ll keep on snowboarding as long as I’m able to but alongside a solid plan for my working career.

https://fotballsonen.com/2024/03/07/fy9s2las8 Now that you’ve proven your potential, would you do things differently?
No, I am happy with my decision. The main point was to move to Innsbruck in order to combine studying with snowboarding. It’s worked out pretty well, I’ve a had lot of fun and that’s what really matters to me!

Get Tramadol Prescription Online https://tankinz.com/csphxdy5ft How do you manage to stay so good at snowboarding while focusing on finishing your studies?
I know, more or less, what I want to do and how I want to do it. I work on new tricks during summer, when I go trampoline jumping to try them out. Cruising with my friends raises my skill level but I’m still having fun. On the other hand, sometimes it’s hard to stay on track because I have to plan how many days I can spend riding and how many I have to spend studying. My time is carefully balanced.

https://worthcompare.com/8tplkrfz6ss https://giannifava.org/93ar5d9jt Both snowboarding and student lives have interesting aspects. What is the best of each world?
Because I study economics, I’m pretty able to make the best out of the world behind snowboarding. Having studied business helped me create some good deals with sponsors, so my “student” part has influenced my snow career in a good way so far! I don’t consider myself a superstar, so I’m just a normal guy who enjoys the mountains with his friends everyday.

https://www.goedkoopvliegen.nl/uncategorized/si23f7edl8 https://ncmm.org/tppnlohi You’re not a competitive rider. Why? What is it that you enjoy most?
Snowboarding is amazing. It’s all about the creativity you put in the riding, from side hits to big jumps. In competitions, you just have this one big course that everybody rides down, so it doesn’t really fascinates me that much. I love being surrounded by nature, that’s why backcountry is still my favorite terrain to shred!

https://www.mominleggings.com/iynkj51dr4 When and why did you first approach powder jumps?
At first, there was no powder at all back home so I ended up hitting parks. We’ve been riding powder in bigger resorts just when the conditions have gotten better. The feeling of riding fresh untracked snow is way different from the icy playground. Most of my friends are backcountry fanatics so they took me with them. Since then, I’ve never stopped!

https://wasmorg.com/2024/03/07/5lnm69yfj https://elisabethbell.com/vfq480f Once the studies are finished, what do your plans look like? Will snowboarding still represent a big part of your routine?
Snowboarding will always be part of it, as long as I can do it. I don’t know what level I’ll be on in the long-term future, or if the sponsored kind of snowboarding will be the same or not.

https://tankinz.com/nenitg9 I am sure that my riding will always focus on the fun. My future looks flexible and it would be great to work for a snowboard company while riding at the same time!
