Stephanie: You meet a lot of cool people in the mountains.
Gaia: I like the seaside but I grew up in the mountains. It’s more ‘me’ than being at the beach right now. If I had grown up on the beach, I would probably be at the beach right now.

You have a lot more action there than if you’re lying on the beach.
Gaia: It’s also about doing something different. You’re up there when everyone is at the beach and it’s nice. You have the wind, you can go fast, and your adrenaline gets going. It’s all about the adrenaline. How much adrenaline can you get if you’re on the beach tanning? I’m not a surfer so this is my way of getting adrenaline in the summer.

Stephanie: It’s really relaxed and chill. You can’t ride the whole day so after the park closes you can relax, drink some beers, head down, go swimming or do something else… we play pingpong… I really like it. It’s not as cold as in the winter; it’s great.
Gaia: Yeah, you can actually see the trees and the grass. It’s really different from winter. Winter you would stay at home after snowboarding or you’d go out at night but not other activities right after. It’s like being a kid again at summer camp, where you do activities; it’s kind of the same.
