Demonium Burton Camp – Speed T-bar Date

Snow

There’s no superpower to it — it’s up to you and how stoked you get while riding!

When it comes to summer camps, Demonium camp is one of the best out there for sure!

Close to the most famous peak in Switzerland (our symbolic Matterhorn), the park offers fun for every kind of rider — creative jib lines and jumps.

Your riding isn’t top-level? No worries, several pros from the Burton team got invited for the event. It’s never too late to learn new tricks and get stoked!

There’s no better place than a t-bar (apart from Tinder) to meet new riders and fun people. How much time do we spend gliding back up after each line? It’s such a waste of our shred day. So we decided to be proactive and use that precious time to conduct our interview.

T-bar dates with Max Zebe

Young gun Max is turning 19 this fall. His video edits went viral the past couple of seasons — from filming with different video production to shooting for Grilosodes, he made it to the top in a short time. Let’s hear what he’s got to say about triple corks and his studies.

Yo Max, what’s up? How you’ve been doing lately?
Hey guys! I’m doing fine. Enjoying my summer in Zermatt.

Tell us about your background, how did you get so good at hitting rails? Any special powers?
Not really. I started snowboarding when I was twelve. I used to hit kickers for a long time but I’ve gotten hyped hitting rails and filming in the streets. There’s no superpower, it’s up to you and how stoked you get while riding!

Your future looks bright; any big plans for the next season?
I’m going to graduate next year from school and I’ll start filming with Postland Theory, trying to get some street and backcountry shots.

The Internet’s hungry for more footage! Where have you hidden yourself the past months?
Actually there are a few newer videos around, mostly filmed at Absolut park for Grilosodes and the spring battle. My part is coming out this fall. Watch out for it!

Flying high has become your trademark ; when will you drop your first triple?
I’m not really looking forward to it (laughing). My plan is to get some creative tricks and stylish grabs while jumping around.

Which kind of blonde do you love the most? The cold, sparkling one or the curvy and soft one?
Definitely the curvy one.

We left the camp with a bag full of good times and many new homies. A big thanks to the Burton Europe team and Demonium camp for welcoming us! Hope to see you next year!

We miss you all already.
Cheers,
