Ride the Wall

Festival

When design and creativity meets boardsports.

A boardsports exposition you shouldn’t miss

Ride the wall is a collaboration that associates street artists with the culture of boardsports. Art and sports are mixed to create a visual environment for all board lovers. We met Anouck Grau, the founder of Ride the Wall, whose story began on the french slopes with her snowboard. After her sport school, she worked in art galleries who raised her passion for design and creativity. Then the sparkle happened, Anouck built Ride the Wall to open a window for people to discover more about the board lifestyle through street art and photography. Since last year, she transforms each year a new gallery in the city of Geneva into a spot where talented artists can expose their best pieces. It’s nothing like you might have seen before, every room and wall has been re-appropriated by a designer allowing him to develop his own design and concept. Artists from all over the world who grew designing in the streets or practicing boardsports are invited to join the event and express their creativity.

Why is creativity so tighten up to the boardsports culture? Where does this progression come from?

We are looking forward to seeing next year’s exposition.
