Pleasure Spring Session

After returning from three sick days at the Suzuki Nine Knights in Livigno, Italy we drove through the Swiss Alps with Nick Goepper and his photographer Dan, to join the masses in Laax for the notorious spring session.

Riders from all over the world met up in Laax from April 8-12th to enjoy the last few days of shredding. No competition, no pressure… just shit loads of fun! It’s a great opportunity for riders to ease off, relax, and celebrate a good season.

The Pleasure Spring Session starts on Wednesday evening at Indy Bar and ends on Sunday night in that very same place, with everyone letting loose and enjoying many drinks. During these few days you’ll find the best snowpark in Europe equipped with many kinds of different jib modules and kickers of all sizes. The Rocks Resort village also offers great parties and concerts, an overall great vibe and a skate events called Team Trouble at the Freestyle Academy.

We had the pleasure to ride this perfectly shaped park and appreciated the show put on by all the talented athletes, such as Nick Goepper (USA), Robin Gillon (NL), Tor Tunström (SWE) and many other crews that came to shred in Laax for this joyous occasion.

Like all locals and snow lovers, we share that nostalgic feeling of the end of the season. We were super stoked on the time we spent in Laax this winter and we wish to thank the resort for their support and great work both on and off the mountain. We look forward to coming back next year!
